Welcome to Contented Butterfly Farm

Where our sheep are contented to give you the wool off their backs!

Our farm, located in historic Windsor, Vermont has been in operation since 2004. We initially chose Shetland sheep because they have fine fleeces (they come in 11 colors), hardy constitutions, and inquisitive natures. It has been said that good things come in small packages and Shetland sheep are no exception. Since then we have changed and modified our farm operations.

Please note that the only butterflies on our farm are not raised by us and only flit around the property according to their own whims. They tend to be contented because we believe in utilizing integrated pest management on our farm.
